Welcome

Fiction books are a wonderful way to escape the everyday world. They allow the reader to enter a space and time that carries the mind and heart to a different level.
With that thought in mind, I write authentic western novels to draw readers into life on the prairie with characters who are slightly weather beaten. They face situations and problems that all of us are familiar with, and they are able to laugh at themselves as well as cry with their loved ones.

I’ve always wanted to write, but raising children and being a partner on our family ranch seemed to take a lot of time. Finally, the first novel was in print, and it has become an addictive hobby that has brought many fantastic folks into my life. Our cattle ranch in western South Dakota and our small town communities offer a well spring of authentic happenings that meander into my books.

I would highly recommend this book(My Lady) for anyone. Jolene and her story will be in my heart for a long time to come. There are many books that I like but I can’t say I would want to read it again. This is a book that I know I will read over and over again.

Love this book(Laughter in the Wind)—I wasn’t sure about this book when I started reading it, but by the end, I found myself wanting it to keep going. The author’s knowledge of living on a ranch gave her a professional insight to the cast of characters she created as well as the details of ranch life. I enjoyed Wade and Abbie’s characters, the humor in their relationship, and the way Abbie reached out to Wade’s children. I appreciate how the author blends the Biblical issues in the book, not sounding like she’s preaching, but making Christ a part of their everyday lives. I loved this book, it is a very enjoyable and light read and it is on my favorite’s list!

I found it very hard to stop reading this book(My Lady)!—The story is gripping and keeps you wanting to know what’s going to happen next. I really appreciated that all the loose ends were tied up, and I wasn’t left with any questions unanswered. Jolene is a very strong woman, and it was very enjoyable to watch how she coped with the struggles thrown at her.
